I used to often fly on the CX 747-200 & -300 in the mid to late 890's., HKG-LGW always via Bahrain in the middle of the night, peering out through the terminal window in the dark revealed car parks full of mercs and rollers, and beyond that just sand................
Seems to have changed a lot, yes a fair while ago I agree, but I've had no cause to go back since....think I'd like to....
