A slightly different action shot from Nigel Brennan, pictured here jumping from a Sikorsky S76A++ of CHC Australia. CHC Australia have an RAAF contract to provide SAR helicopters for day/night SAR around Australia, and this S76A++ is based at RAAF East Sale in East Gippsland, Victoria.
The parachute jump was in to launch the RAAF Williams Air Pageant at Point Cook in 2010. Point Cook is close to Melbourne and was the ‘birthplace’ of the RAAF: it has an extensive museum with many warbirds kept in immaculate condition.
