Does anybody know, or more precisely be prepared to say, what the QF 744 under the callsign QF6019 or 619 is doing?

Saw it make an approach to Hobart on Thursday (very impressive) and then chug off to the west on the 268 radial and then heard it over Hobart again on Friday but no approach this time.

QF flights with 60** numbers are non RPT training or promotional flights.

155 of us Travel Agency leeches took Miss Nancy SYD to AKL for the night on QF6013 months before the 1st commercial flight. I believe we were the first International Qantas A380 passengers.

A nice night was had at the Westin and we brought her home the next day.

That is most likely crew training but isn't it nice to get the girls to come visit!

All the best

Thanks for the info. :ok:

I thought it might be something like that as the only 747s' we see down this way are the occasional South Africa flights avoiding or availing themselves of the jetstreams. :uhoh:
