Hello,

I am a pilot flying in america. I came across WindJet and noticed they are enabling direct captain entry and charge the TR to the pilot.

I was wondering what do you guys know about them? Are the mins posted truly reflect the candidates coming in, or do you need prior time on type?

Thanks!

WindJet is called the biggest A320 school in Europe.
Usually they take FOs who pay around 50k € for the rating and a 1 year contract. I don't know if they do the same with DEC as many A320 Cpts and FOs in Italy are looking for a job.

Hi there,

after the recent announcement of "merging" of WindJet and Blue Panorama with Alitalia, the TRTO and all the courses have been stopped.

I don't think there will be any more courses going on with all the ex Alitalia employees that were laid off being at home with an A320 type. They will for sure fill their needs with those guys.

No more type ratings for the time being, and I don't think there will be any more.
