Need help from a QR crew member...

Hey everybody... I have a question:
I know Qatar flies from Doha to Bangkok and then to Hanoi. I need to get to Hanoi from Frankfurt. LOT standby is not working probably due to the broken 767. They have an Embargo on standby flights to Hanoi.

Here is my question:

I will fly to BKK with the yellow blue german bird. The standby booking system offers me a ticket to from BKK to HAN with Qatar Airways. Is that possible? Can new passengers embark the airplane in Bangkok and fly to Hanoi? I would love to know since I really need to go to Hanoi in one week!

Yes, it's possible.
It will be approx. 2 hour flight on the Boeing 777 if I'm not mistaken!

If you go on the QR website and put BKK to Hanoi in the booking engine it returns fares, so yes, I would assume that it allows you to join in BKK.

If you're flying next week surely calling tomorrow isn't too late?

and yes givemewings... I am a bit late! Didnt think LOT is putting an Embargo on the flight for PADs.... got kind of surprised yesterday.....
