I'm willing to chip in if anyone is interested. It would be an investment. A very, very long time ago I was a trainee AEOp on this type and recall that I sent many messages on our 3 hour sorties reporting on Russian surface and sub-surface units which we had detected in uk waters.

What on earth we needed an expensive Nimrod fleet for I don't know. Let's buy 'em, fly 'em and rent the service back to the government.

That's the retirement plan sorted out then. I'll even get the first round in in the Salutation IRaven.

Gents

If you've any cash left over after Christmas, then this might be of interest.

Offered for sale by Executive Jet Support are three former RAF Dominie's plus five spare Viper engines. You can purchase the whole package, or individually and the cost is $120,000. :=

These aircraft are currently parked out in the open at Kemble.
