Combined JAA & FAA medical

Hi,

Having just been quoted a small fortune to have these done - I was wondering if anyone had a good contact in London? Ideally one Doc who can do one (extended) examination and then simultaneously issue both FAA and JAA medical certs?

I think that Dr David Cransden in Harpenden (363 Luton Road, AL5 3LZ) can do both JAA and FAA.

I only go to him for a JAA medical, but recall seeing an FAA certificate on the wall, and always find him pleasant and friendly to deal with.

I would recommend Dr. Cransden too, I use him for both my FAA and JAA medicals.

Can't recommend one in London but near Bournemouth Airport there is a chap (Burton Medical Centre - Dr N Gamper) who does both FAA and JAA. Last time he only charged me an extra £20 to have the FAA Class 2 added at the same time.

Dr Frank Voeten in Daventry. He's a Flyer forum regular, very friendly and professional, and extremely well priced. He did my combined FAA/JAA medical last year.

Peter Orton at Stansted does JAR, FAA, Australia, NZ, Canada and couple of other countries as well. Great guy, recreational IFR pilot, highly recommended.
