If it helps in any way I'm 55 miles North West (an hour's drive) from Deal......

Think there is a hotel near there called Eastwell Manor - been a long time and can't remember how far that is from Deal itself. Have also landed on the sea front at Deal before - near the lifeboat station, but it's not somewhere you could leave it un-attended.

Try calling Skycharter (ex Helicharter) at Manston - they know the area.

I guess you could try the Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club (http://royalcinqueports.com/) They seem to be onside for helicopters. :)

'Air Miles' Andy's £2k 43-minute flight ... to his golf club (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1192868/Air-Miles-Andys-2k-43-minute-flight---golf-club.html)

Failing that, Hythe or Ramsgate seem to have sites :ok:
Helipad - the UKs Helicopter Portal (http://www.helipad.co.uk/Helicopter0001v01.htm)

Hello
Sorry to hi-jack the thread but I happen be be on holidays in Deal visiting the inlaws. I live just out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and was wondering if anyone would be interested in exchanging some R 22 time (or any heli for that matter). Will be in Deal from Dec 29th to the 11 th of January. Probably slim to no chance but you never know unless you ask.
Thanks
Kirt:rolleyes:

From where Longbox hides its 20-25 mins drive. But it will be safe in his hanger so no worries there.
