Hi bros,
Does anybody has idea about AIB 320/321 MMEL 27-51-02 about takeoff config 1+F is not permitted when SFCC2 Slat channel failure, why is it required?
Thanks for helps!

Hi, I am not an engineer but it might have something to do with dispatch with loss of ADR2 when conf1+f is also not allowed?
This is because loss of airspeed information could lead to auto retraction of slats at too low an airspeed when in 1+ F. Sorry no FCOM at moment so cannot be more accurate.

A Note in our MEL states:

The VFE is displayed on the PFD according to the flap lever position.
Overspeed warning is computed accordingly to the actual flaps/slats position.
With the SFCC 2 inoperative, retraction time of the slats from CONF 1 to FLAPS ZERO may take up to 1 minute and 30 seconds. During the retraction period, make sure that the placard speeds are not exceeded, as the VFE limit on the PFD will disappear when selecting FLAPS ZERO.

Hope that explains it.

so what is the problem for control if slat/flap retract too slow?

If you are so determined to get an answer, contact you QA department or Airbus themselves. They will give you an answer.

Er they drop out the sky or overspeed if the airspeed falls to low/high. No ref warning bug as it disappears when flap lever set to zero!
