Just wondering whether Fort Fumble will ramp Travolt's 707 and Air Force One while they are in Australia?

I also noticed yesterday that Special Agents were on the apron not wearing reflective vests or ISO compliant earmuffs when operating around the Presidents aircraft, plus the line up limousines and other vehicles appeared to exceed walking pace within the circle of safety around the aircraft tsk tsk.

Perhaps the President and John can donate a spare engine to the QF fleet while they are here???

Even Qantas [motto : explore the extreme time limits of all technology] wouldn't be able to find much use for a JT-3D.
Might be able to be converted into a ground power / conditioned air unit, come to think of it. Some goose in Fuel Conservation would then get an award for APU fuel saving.

Funny post Gobbledock.

It would be even funnier if CASA bounced Travolta.

But Air Force One is a US military aircraft. Not even our RAAF blokes will be able to get close without security clearance.

Chippy Chippy Chippy.

Good Morning Mr Gobbledock
Peace be upon you
Just wondering whether Fort Fumble will ramp Travolt's 707 and Air Force One while they are in Australia?Maybe using your interpretations of the Australian regs.
Not sure if it applies in the actual.
John Travolta is a member of R L Hubbards organisation so perhaps he is protected by the Illuminati from being conspired against by the World Wide Conspiracy.
And ofcourse, every American President is a paid up member of the Illuminati, just look at the american seal of office.

Make sure you are wearing your foil hat, the chemtrails are particularly hazardous when lounging on the beach.

And by the way how is Ken? You boys must be harder than a ship made of steel with all these exciting jets like Travolta's and the Presidents flying around at the moment. Don't flatten the scanner batteries or you might miss an exciting radio broadcast !:ok:
Now don't you have a postie scooter to go repair?

That thing has more bumps and prickles on its back than a porcupine!

Has more than the AF1 in CB I think. It must be really important ;)

One can only guess as to what's in there. Have a look at the number of air con carts sitting there.

My favourite sight was the AFP surveillance van in Canberra with a sexy AFP logo painted on the side in Very Large Letters, presumably to reassure everyone that they're doing something. They probably run around in polo shirts with 'undercover' written on the back. :hmm:

When it comes to the Travolta-mobile, is it still allowed in? Didn't 707s and 727s get banned due noise issues about a year ago?

Not if you are flying 'back of the clock' and are unwinding beside a sunny beach with a couple of fillies by your side http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:www.pprune.org/get/images/smilies/evil.gifAnd yet you still have time for PPRuNe. That's somewhere between sad and dedicated...;)

The E4-B seems like a fairly awesome airborne electronics outpost. Check out the rich details here: Boeing E-4 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_E-4)

More kit than Harvey Norman.

Fly By Wire,I suspect it's the spare. Just in case, you would'nt want to be stuck making small talk with Barbie and Ken any longer than absolutely necessary.

You fool........

It's their no-APU fuel conservation strategy :) :)

Obvious really :ok:
