Hey all, not sure which forum I should post this on.

I am nearing the end of my graduate career and one of our final projects is to roleplay as if we are proposing a new technology to a company. I want to do something that is related to aviation (more specifically something like a new transponder or anything GPS related). My question is does anyone here know something off the top of their head? Also very important this technology can NOT be approved or in use yet. If its still going through the approval process that is fine as well.

Thank you!

How about incorporation of Glonas and/or Galileo into satellite navigation systems?

Another possibility would be self-orginated approach procedure design.

I read up on Galileo. It seems very very interesting. I think I'll go with that for this project. Thank you so much! :ok:

A small, possibly portable device (like a handheld gps) such that it wouldn't need to be approved to be carried, that could record a GPS track, pitch/roll/yaw attitude, ambient cockpit sounds, and intercom/radio conversations.
