Hey guys, I'm trying to work out where a nav exercise went that I did way back in 1994 with Mainland Air out of Dunedin. My logbook says "NZDN - Lake Onslow - Crossons - NZDN" and I'm trying to work out exactly where "Crossons" is/was. I remember the route being a triangle with Crossons being a small grass farm airstrip somewhere around Ranfurly/Kyeburn, but it was a long time ago and my memory may be off, the spelling may also be off.

Anyone able to help?

Crossans Corner, Otago - Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?q=Crossans+Corner,+Otago&hl=en&ll=-45.912586,169.161301&spn=0.024633,0.055747&sll=-41.244772,172.617188&sspn=53.899931,114.169922&vpsrc=6&geocode=FSFxQ_0dpRAVCg&hnear=Crossans+Corner,+Otago&t=m&z=15)

Here?

Never went there on any of my navs out of DN though!

That could be it, it's about the right distance from DN and Lake Onslow. I thought it was on the other side of Onslow, my memory's pretty fuzzy on it though.

Crossan's strip is the strip in Ranfurly. Formally known as Forresters (I think)

Makes more sense. The one I found in Google doesn't really look very exciting.
When I did said nav it was Lake Onslow - Ranfurly in my logbook.
