I just heard through the grapevine that my old flight school, NATA (Namibian Aviation Training Academy), is looking for a new CFI after their old CFI left for the airlines in Angola.

As pilots from Nam know, NATA supplied a lot of good pilots through the years, who are well established in the airlines and charter companies. :D

NATA's tel: +264 (0)61 274470 and email: cgi2.ops@<hidden> (cgi2.ops@<hidden>) or info@<hidden> (info@<hidden>)
So please, all instructors out there, send in your CV's so they can get a CFI. Because they need a CFI to fly!

I just hope this will help them out, coz I don't want to see their planes grounded. They should be up and flying! :ok:

Can get a CFI rating in a weeks time.

But I am really low on money so havent done it yet..

I know I am not the ideal candidate under the circumstances.. Gonna send them a CV regardless. Thanks for the tip.

I thought WFTC was taking over NATA flight training ?
Anyone with the latest on this ?
Fly safe.

@<hidden> Not that I know off (and I'm pretty well informed). NATA has been around longer than WFTC and their pilots are better (in my own, biased, opinion) established than WFTC. So I don't think WFTC will take over their training.

However, both WFTC and NATA occasionally use instructors from the other if a student and instructor don't get a bond. One of the other's instructors might work better with that student.

@<hidden> Wow, I don't know about the requirements and visas . Maybe if you look in one of the forums about working in Nam, you might get an answer.
