Hi everybody,
Recognising that I have very little experience on the field, I would appreciate your suggestions on this issue.
I would be interested in the combined JAA/FAA program at the Bristow Academy.
Combined FAA/JAA - Bristow Academy Inc - Helicopter Flight Training (http://www.heli.com/helicopter-programs/combined-faa-jaa/index.php)
Let's assume that after the course I want to come back to the EU to work in a major company (ex. in SAR or in the off-shore field), what kind of additional license I would need to get to fly an AW-139 class H/C?
I guess I would also need a certain amount of flight hours, what is the "common" way to gain those?
My background: 27 years, MSc Aerospace Eng, currently holding a good position in a major aerospace firm, but interested in jumping on the other side of the cabin.. where you usually find pedals, stick and cloche!!
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thanks
