View Full Version : UK or not UK

Boys and Girls,

No doubt I am repeating a question but...

I am the typical low time Canuck CPL but I have opportunity to get a JAR thingy and I am allowed to work in jolly old England. Over here the fierce competition for jobs means ramp work or instructing for peanuts. Chuffed as I am with the mountain flying here in Canada (ice covered short high altitude fields cannot be beat!) I am wondering what sort of thing would be on offer in the UK? I have loads of extra qualifications (languages, law degree etc.) and I am not interested in expanding my familiarity with the Cessna family.

I would appreciate a frank appraisal of the UK job market for low timers before I slap down a whack of cash. I don't really care about money (ok I gotta eat), just good multi time in my logs.

Thanks.
