Just Curious! Last week while holidaying in the Caribbean I noticed several "JMC coloured" aircraft with UK reg's, bearing logos such as "Apple Vacations" and "North American" and operating to the USA. In the context of the controversy in the UK regarding "flagging out" it would be interesting to know who is flying these aircraft, and under whose jurisdiction?

I also saw a "Miami Air" B737 with a UK reg.....

Perhaps it's the charter companys leasing out their aircraft over the 'quiet' winter season???

Check out :-

and look under JMC. Quite a lot of their fleet is leased out to Ryan Int for the winter, which may have a connection with Apple Vacations. North American is also mentioned.

The Miami Air B737-800 is one of Sabre's. They have a five year contract which sees one of Sabre's B738 flying with Miami Air in Winter and one of Miami Air's flying for Sabre (Exel) in the Summer.
