If you live in Perth it is worth the DRIVE into town I think.

I wish I could have been there too!

Please note unless you are AUTHORISED to fly in you will need to drive there. If you are not 100% sure about whether you are authorised to ...... you are not!

Just some questions about the Langley Park Fly in.

Will it be an ongoing thing held each year, I thought it had been years since the last due to an obstacle built on one of the approaches to the field.

What sort of aircraft are eligible to fly in. Is it only vintage aircraft.

Is the landing surface still in good shape, I walked the grass area many years ago and it semed to be a fine surface.

Is there a pilots guide to flying in anywhere on the internet?

This is most likely the last EVER. Sad I can't make it but such is life! It is a nightmare to organise and get sponsors for and so on. The result is awesome no doubt, but the work, risk, cost etc does not justify it in my opinion unless you have a very dedicated bunch of folk, which there are. But I believe for several reasons this is the last one.

I believe it is vintage classic and Experimental. In any case, what ever is currently booked in is what will be there. It is not an open fly in for adhoc arrivals.....as you can well imagine :uhoh:.

No doubt :ok:

Nope!!! And you will not be needing one. If you are going, you already know. Please refer to my original post. :ok:

By car it is, no casual "drop ins".....for the obvious reasons ;)

Could be interested given it's been ankle deep in water the last few weeks.

I guess the (IMHO hideous) Perth foreshore redevelopment will put an end to it.

Working on both days!!! :yuk::yuk::yuk:

Spose you can always jump on the train from whichever train line you're on and hop off on Esplanade train station, its only 100'ish metres walk along riverside drive.

Tell me... is that the Ex-RFDS C180 flying in?
