Hi there.
Just a quick enquiry regarding general aviation in Australia. I am thinking of emigrating there from Ireland sometime during the next year. I finished an FAA Commercial/Multi/IR in California in 2010 but haven't flown since then. If I went back and got recurrent before heading out there, what is the general state of GA for a low timer at this time?
Would it be realistically possible to eventually find work as an instructor if I do an instructor rating after the conversion process? I know it's a big country and everything is region specific but I'm really just trying to get a basic idea of the playing field without spending too much too soon as my budget is very limited. Obviously I wouldn't be going there without any other options but I miss flying very much and would be interested in any opportunities that may arise and would want to be current if they did.
Many thanks :)
