Hi

Does anybody know where I can hire a Firefly from in the Bristol area or surrounding part of the country?

or any other all glass domed light aircraft?

Cheers

I think Compton Abbas may have some, I know it's not that close to Bristol but it's closer than where I am.

There is one based at Exeter (SE-LBB). Don't know the owner though.

I think the Cotswold Aero Club have one. I think they use it for aerobatic training, so not sure if it can be hired or not.

Try:

Hope this helps!

There's a Bulldog at Compton Abbas, I believe.

I've not had the chance but its a very good aeroplane by all accounts.

But then so 's the Slings.

Also Bulldogs at Old Sarum, and a Firefly at Oxford and another at Turweston. If looking for bubble canopies and aerobatic capability, there's also a Cap 10 at Oxford (available for dual only).
