Only place that might have one is Saudi, i think Saudia used to have DC-9s/MD-80s if I'm not mistaken. Almost no chance of finding one anywhere else in GCC, mostly Airbus/Boing around here.

Saudi Arabian operated 737-200s before the MD-90. They didn't even get their MD-90 sims until a few years after they took delivery of the airplanes. All training was conducted by McDonnell Douglas ( Boeing ) instructors in Long Beach for the first few years.

All the vintage airplane sims were being collected by the second/third tier training centers in places like Miami. McDonnell Douglas ( Boeing ) didn't even have a DC-9 sim after the early 90s.

The Saudia MD90 simulator is unique with a 6 screen glass cockpit, it's probably not what you are looking for unless you plan to fly the Boeing 717.

Mutt,

Am I dreaming. Were there 2 of them?

There were two of them to support 29 MD90's, I think that one was removed to make room for an Airbus sim...... I'm sure that one of the MD90 drivers will correct me if I'm wrong :):)
