RAF Stradishall 1946-49

I am working on an article about Stradishall in the immediate post-war period and would appreciate assistance in contacting ex-Strad personnel from the period and sourcing Lancaster photos from the sqns based there 35, 149 and 207. Thanks

You could try Air Britain - in 1999 they published a history of 207 and there is a 7 page chapter on the early post-war period including several photographs of Lancasters.

Tom, I've just remembered that the last boss of 207 lives in your neck of the woods.

He may be able to help and does look at Prune - I can't remember his 'callsign' here.
