CASA Instrument Rating Renewal

Hi all,

I'm going to renew my instrument rating next month. Mine was expired on 31 Oct 2010. I was only endorsed with NDB approach in my initial issue (but had ILS, VOR, NDB, GPS training previously).

However I want to be endorsed with ILS this time. Would this flight test be considered as an initial issue / renewal? i.e. Do I have to go over the KDRs again?

You do not have to do the KDRs again. But the ILS must be demonstrated in flight as it is initial issue.
