Just reading on another Forum that a Merlin made a forced or precautionary landing around the Coventry area today? I dont know details, just second hand info, original thread with YouTube vid here:

Looks as if everyone is ok & no damage to the aircraft from what I can see in the videos, well done anyway to the crew! :ok:

I wonder if the crews had to fight off any of the slack-jawed, sticky-fingered locals? All that potential scrap metal sat in a field near Pikeytown UK, it just doesn't bear thinking about.
