Hello,

i am living in UK and i have to revalidate my Class I. My licence and medical certificate are JAA so i donīt know if it possible to do here, in England...Does anybody know something about it?
I would like to know if itīs possible to get a CAA class I and if it is possible to use it in Europe ( if it is the same that a JAA certificate)

Thank you very much!!

CAA issue JAA medicals.

I suspect the problem you may have in renewing a foreign issued class 1 is that all CAA AMEs are on a computer system which is linked to your CAA held records.

I'd suggest contacting CAA's medical division at Gatwick who should be able to sort out any legal/computer/legal issues. You can find contact details on the CAA website.

No problem for any JAR/CAA AME who can do class 1 medicals in the UK.

Look up AMEs in the UK by county and those with a 1 in their AME number can do it for you.
