Hi Guys,

As the thread says, does anyone know where I can buy a standard logbook in Dubai?

Cheers,

I had a good look round and only came up with a FAA Logbook. It's available at Emirates Aviation Services at the Airport, can't remember how much, I ended up ordering a JAR one on line!!

Log Book Pro is good but costs around $150, you can buy a lot of these for that money and paper never crashes!

Spread sheet.

Used for last ten years, and never one complaint.

But then I am not trying for airline jobs.

Try the pilot shops at:

Emirates Aviation Services (Dubai Airport Terminal 2)
Alpha Aviation Academy (Sharjah Airport)
UAQ Flying Club (Umm Al Quwwain)
Horizon Flying School (Ras Al Khaimah)
I think there is one somewhere close to the Fujairah airport (this is the useless info ;))

... for MAC LogTen Pro is the best solution, but if you really want a paper logbook you can use Aramex and they ship it to you wherever you are!

You can backup LogTen Pro and it never burns.

I would be glad if you can paste the correct spelling. As far as I have seen some people write it with one "p" and some with one "l" some with one "P" and one "l".

"Epaulettes" also known in the industry as "stripes".
