Thinking of getting my sea/float plane rating. If anyone has any recommendations for a school/instructor then I would be most grateful. Thanks!

A school in Ireland do it.

The Amphibious Flying Club (http://www.the-amphib-flyingclub.co.uk/)

Great place to do it and have gotten great feedback from what i heard.

WILCO is right, these guys are the biz, ask for Steve, top bloke, you can even do you instructors there too. The lakes around Fermanagh are amazing and you might get a nice pint or three too.:ok:

I see you're in The Netherlands, however if you don't mind travelling, then I suggest you check out Neil's seaplanes at Loch Earn in Scotland. It's a few years since I was there, but it's the same guy, he's a bit of a character but that's not a criticism and I liked it.

Did mine with Kenmore Air in Seattle, best flying I've ever done! If you are looking at the UK, Neil in Scotland would be my recommendation. Spoke to him a number of times, he knows his stuff and is very passionate! He recommended Kenmore to me.
