Hi there,

the topic of tail anti-ice has been discussed rather recently on this (http://www.pprune.org/tech-log/407058-why-modern-jet-tails-not-de-iced-flight.html) thread.

Besides... some AC with a 'conventional tail' do have tail anti-ice, e.g. the MD11.

..and some T tails do not have tail AI.

There is no correlation between the tail location and tail AI.
