I am considering a pilot career with United Airlines. I was wondering if someone could run the career prediction program to see when I could expect to make 400 captain if I were hired today.

United like many other airlines are not doing to good right now. They have laid of a number of pilots, and made numerous cut-backs accross the board. Right now the future of UA is unsure, the old CEO said that UA will perish in the next year, but hopefully that is not true. Also UA are 'storing' some 744's aswell. What I am trying to say is no one really knows, there are so many variables that all you can do is keep striving for a UA 747 and see where you end.
