...you can get the Australian online - Aviation section only - for $100/year.

...but if you only buy the paper on Friday (like I do) 50 copies will cost you $75 :ugh: :rolleyes:

Why do you have to pay for The Australian with US dollars, surely the real thing would be easier.

Because the iPad App wants USD. And 24 Australians per month (assumes 4 wks x 6 days) = About $44/month for the real thing, including Weekend Australian.

And getting it on the iPad at 2000z on the day of publication is often better than getting it 24 to 30 hours later in the boondocks.

And if you only want 1 each Friday, it's only $1.19, or thereabouts depending upon the exchange rate.
