I saw a late model Aztec in the US which had three blade Hartzells. I have never seen this before and was not aware of any STC for such.

The Aztic is so good, it does not even neeed a second propeller. You can completely remove it from the airplane, place it in the back, and fly it all of the way across Africa. No problems.
In the Rhodesian airforce, we did this all of the time.
We are buying dozens of them and launching RPT across Australia. We will then crush Skywest.
I've just got to get these silly fellows from CASA off of my arse. What would they know.

Green Goblin, yes I agree with all you have said. Remember the truck always carried the badge of "the gentlemans twin".
I am looking at one now which needs props and thought for aesthetic purposes only, a set of 3 bladers would be puuurfect!

I don't know about the three bladers but i'm telling you.... one of these would be the best! I would have Skywest on their knees if I had a fleet of these!

No Aztruck I've ever seen had 3 blades, but then again I only
ever flew the -250s.

Does anyone use them for charter any more? I know Ausjet Darwin had one for a bit. Seems like a useable aircraft that got beaten by its sexier counterparts.
It's a shame there aren't too many of them about any more. Easy to fly and one of the very few six place twins that you can honestly load with pax, baggage and fuel.
Yeah they were/are bulbous old turds with the back row deemed extremely hard to get into/out of, but a great reliable workhorse.
