Evening gents,

Got an odd request, does anyone know where I can find reference material on the old Collins communication equipment found on the Bell 222 or does anyone have any material they be willing to share? What I am mostly interested in is images of each radio so I can get the exact wording I need for a Flight Simulator project. Here are 2 shots of my work in progress "Deuce" for FSX.

I am at the stage of programming the radios and I need the correct text info found on the faceplate of each radio. Any help is very much appreciated:cool:

Still working on adding some cool features to the final model. Check Welcome to Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations (http://www.eaglerotorcraftsimulations.com/) for release info. This will also be available to FS2004 users, maybe with limited features.

I believe the owner of EHC in Norway has an operation utilising 222s in Africa. Certainly one of the EHC IR instructors was also involved in setting up the African operation, so it might be worth dropping them an email to ask if they have any photos for you. I believe they have (or had) a 222 sim as well.

I ahve absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of the equipment you are referring to,
or how "old" the quipment is that you are referring to, but a Google search came up with :

TACAN - The AN/ARN-21 (http://members.home.nl/a.k.bouwknegt/index.htm)

ARC-51 UHF Aircraft Transceiver (http://members.home.nl/a.k.bouwknegt/index_bestanden/ARC51_UHF_Transceiver.htm)

I have the old FlightSafety 222 training manual that has tons of illustrations, what exactly are you interested in having scanned? I will email them to you . . . .

The 222 in the picture above was my old ship, N2105J. I'm currently on tour at the moment but will be home in a few weeks, I have a lot of old and original material of the 222, I will rummage through what I have and see if I can send you what you need.

On another note N2105J was lost in a Hanger fire in Apr 2006.

That would be splendid. Anything you can offer, I would gladly appreciate it very much.

On another note, N2105J is the subject aircraft I am basing my Bell 222 project on....but I am adding features found on other B222s including the landing light lights on the sponsons, strobes, pulsating lights, wirecutters, etc.
