Bit of a boring question really, but would anyone happen to be up on what policies/directives the EU has for/or have planned for the air transport industry?

You should be able to find far more than you want to know at http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex/en/index.html

Cathar, hardly anything there in terms of planned for the air transport industry !

Anyway, the most interesting question in european aviation must be what is happening in the EC-court in Luxembourg ?

If you take a little time to search you should be able to find all existing and proposed EC legislation on the site plus Commission Communictions etc. At a quick glance there appear to be an number of legislative proposals which will affect the air transport industry. These include proposals to amend slot allocation rules, to adopt JAR-OPS as the EC standard, to licence cabin crew, establish a European Aviation Safety Agency, establish a mandatory occurence reporting system, establish common aviation security rules etc.

If what you are intersted in is not there it may mean that the EC doesn't have any proposals/policies at this stage.
