I am new to commercial pilot contract and not good in English too:hmm: so please clarify these terms
one off sign on bonus=??
annual retention bonus=??

One off sign-on bonus = we'll give you money to work for us, and we'll give you this wad of cash when you sign your contract. That way, you'll only regret coming to work for us when you start, not before.

Annual retention bonus = we'll give you some money each year as a reward for not leaving. It works well for us, your airline, because while it looks like we're exceedingly generous, it's an alternative to giving you an actual pay rise (or establish some actual pay scales) each year, therefore hopefully avoiding us having to deal with awkward salary negotiations.
