repaint balancing

hi guys can any one tell me the calculation for b777 flight control balancing with out control removal.i know its in srm but any easy formulas.

Never heard of any sutch thing, usually if you add more than "x" amount of weight too far aft of the hinge point you balance.

You are going to carry out the task IAW or REF the SRM.. Use the formula from it... Any other formula are not approved..:eek:

I don't know about Boeing but some manufactures have balance allowances for repaint. This allows one or two repaints before re-balancing.

This should be in the SRM somewhere or contact your Boeing rep.

The formula can be hard to follow. If you can pull the control surface off and get it painted and balanced.
