Which license/advice please

Hello Guys, havent visited the forum of late and need some professional advice. Now i know im going to be knocked for this ref doing this the wrong way round:= but ive just bought a 65 D23 Lear Jet and do not have a license of any kind. Yes, ill be the first to admit its a very oddball thing to do but now need some advice on the various stages to obtain a license to fly it. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. This is a serious post btw...

Lots of guys buy planes without having a license, but they usually hire pilots.

If you want to fly the thing yourself, you will need to get a PPL, followed by a CPL (plus Multi engine) and IR-ME, then get a type rating for the thing.

I'm not sure if you need a CPL to get a type rating, but you will want a CPL anyway for insurance purposes. You will also have to find a second pilot since it is a two crew aircraft.
