A quick question. I am flying to Australia in Jan next year and am probably going to be flying with Qantas. The booking info. say's that the flight is operated by British Airways. Does this mean that it will be a British Airways plane?

Regards,

Simon

Yes- The flight you have booked on is a code-share agreement between BA and Qantas. Basically that means that both airlines have teamed up to sell tickets for the same flight.
Something similar may happen whereby if you booked with BA at another time of the day, you would probably find yourself on a Qantas flight.
Hope this helps,
Tri

Simon,

If you go the Qantas website www.qantas.com.au (http://www.qantas.com.au) and check your QF flight number under schedules you'll be able to find out if it's a fair dinkum Qantas flight (QF aircraft, QF crew) or a BA flight (BA aircraft, BA crew) which happens to have a QF codeshare flight number in addition to its own BA flight number.
