First of all, sorry if a post like this has already been posted and answered and I'm just repeating someone else!

Okay, so my question is regarding the differences between the two.
I've heard that the actual tests and strictness themselves are identical, however if you have an Initial Class 1, and it expires, does that just go down to a Class 2?

If so, once I'm old enough to get a Class 1 medical, whilst I'm training for my PPL, would it be worth getting a Class 1 medical instead of a Class 2, just to see if I'd be able to continue my flying after my PPL?

Finally, are the medicals really as bad as they seem?
For someone with as good as you can get vision and hearing, no past or present health issues and a near perfect family history, is it really that bad? I'm just worrying in case something unexpected crops up and my dream bubble will instantly burst!!
