I was quite curious as to what interesting things people log in their "Specialist/Instructor" columns of their logbooks seeing that it allows you to track hours or tallies which don't fit in to any other parts of your logbook, but are obviously important enough for the individual to want to count it.

Just to start the ball rolling, I log water landings.

I use that column for when I'm pilot flying .. I don't record the time, just 'PF' .. and leave it blank when I'm pilot monitoring.

When I used to fly a mix of VFR & IFR ops in a previous job I recorded IFR time.
