I am currently operating an n reg aircraft in Singapore and fly ifr with my FAA instrument rating. Is it possible to move to Australia and fly like this? I have found maintenance companies with us certified mechanics. But is it that simple? How would import gst work? I've heard of "paying a bond" and also some have told me it's possible provided the aircraft leaves and returns to oz every 6 months.
