65,063.87AED?

The 380 guys in EK are on close to that as a basic, and more, especially if you put in accom schools etc...and imagine the instructor pay too.... gotta be well over the 70k AED for the olds to move on!!

Air China 747 Capt, PVG based, 16kUSD!

KAL 330 -11300, 777 - 12700 , 747 - 13300, 380 - ? @ 14500 - 15000, hence the reason EK 330 pilots want on the 380 so bad. Still the best commuting job.

> 25,000 AUD and there might be some bites.

Otherwise 15K is a pittance to put up with the problems KAL have.

To look after an A380 with all those PAX and responsibilities equates to Managerial Position of a company worth approx 250Million. Therefore > 300K would be a worthy renumeration by my calculations.

:ok:

330 pilots don't want to go to the 380 at EK due to prospects at KAL, it is simply because the rosters are miserable on the 330 fleet...

Mates..there will never be a A380 expat job for you.. sorry. You'll have to enjoy the des(s)ert..for still quite a while...if not forever.
70K AED per month... Fokker me you are delusional!
Even if you are a 10 year captain and including accomodation allowance and you you 'll be still at least 25Kshort..habibi..but keep dreaming!

Jetaim,

Think 70 K for a senior is actually quite conservative! Me reasonable junior Capt. Total package (basic, flightpay, provident, acc.) around 63.000 AED/ $17,000 .This is excluding Bonus.

Do not think we will see 380 DEC,s at KAL, but if so, do not see guys leaving with a package under $20,000. Thats the numbers:ok:

Approx. 70K AED is the going rate for a very senior trainer inclusive of housing and minus school fees...

Does KAL pay include housing and schooling ? Didn't think so , compare apples to apples.

Average trainer pay, no overtime considered!!
44k basic
9.5k training pay
15k accom
4.5k flt pay
5k provident fund
3 kids in school 10k pm approx

Ok school fees are subjective as home country you prob have various options!

Just for info: This thread (http://www.pprune.org/rumours-news/481375-sooo-you-want-fly-korean-airlines-do-you.html) might be interesting for anybody considering to leave the ME for KAL
