Weren't ALL UK Army fatalities in GW1 down to a trigger happy US pilot plinking two APC's? - you can't have it both ways - and some of the strikes done in 'Stan have been as indiscriminate in effect on non-combatants as suicide bombers, throwing away any moral high ground.
A sergeant major in 10Para said to me once that if you weren't prepared to fight a war with clubs then perhaps your reason for fighting wasn't strong enough.
