Interested to learn which charter operators are used by the Federal government between Xmas Island and mainland Australia, and the type of aircraft.

A320 or Fokker 100 are usually the only types available.
Use the scheduled B737 where possible for small numbers.

Last time Alliance flight made the news, it was stated that it cost the Australian Tax payers $500,000 for two return flights to Christmas Island.

Over the past 12 months I have seen Strategic A320's, Alliance Fokker 100's, Sky Traders A319, Our Airline 737-300.

These have also done the trips to the detention centers around the traps, Curtin, Scherger etc
