Somthing thats been bugging us in the office today is the G1000 HSI
When tuned to a VOR we know the HSI in a g1000 is changed to the same limits as a normal HSI
When coupled to a VOR or localizer (LOC), the CDI has the
same angular limits as a mechanical CDI.
From Garmin Pilots guide
But the indicators stay the same. The question is what does each of the dots represent in terms of degrees off track?
Thanks
