Yesterday at aprox 11.15am we saw a VELVET 737-200 getting airborne from FAJS.

The strange thing was its callsign- BRAVO 310???

To my knowledge this is often call signs used for the SADF/??

Any body know what our low cost carrier was doing yesterday on that call sighn?:confused:

Velvet's scheduled Cape Town flight was airborne at 10.32 am yesterday using call sign Velvet 310. It was definitely a Boeing 737-300. Velvet has no -200's

My mistake it must have been a B737-300, Perhaps there was just a glitch in there flight plan , and thats why it was flying as BRAVO 310.

Thanks for the help.

Isn't it their next aircraft maybe doing tests? They should be preparing a new aircraft soon, becuase they've just released increased frequency schedules to commence from 9 August.

There's no way ATNS would allow an airline to just change their CALLSIGN, CALCULATOR. YOU probably heard wrong. :D:D:D:D:D:D
