Are you talking about Cairns to Lihir Island? If so, it's a chartered aircraft and they don't own it themselves.

9M-TAQ ATR72, 500 I think?

Leased to and operated by Airlines PNG on the Cairns - Lihir Is charters. Operates as call sign Balus 700.

I think APNG recently had an ad looking for Captains and F/Os on AFAP.

Newcrest have lots of aircraft including choppers on charter in oz and png.
Probably could narrow it down if you had a location or mine site name.
Or even a company or type of aircraft you are looking for.

Newcrest runs a mine at Cadia near Orange. Would use RPT.

All the aircraft in/out of Orange are chartered. Alliance F100, Sharp Metro, Maxim Citation etc. I hear the F100 can only lift about half load out of Orange due to runway length and elevation.
