Advice please..
I'm not an instuctor, merely someone who is embarking on gaining the best knowledge, experience and skill to attain a PPL. I intend to do the majority of my flying between UK and Europe in a aircraft similar to a TBM850. My question is 'Is it best to train in Europe, to conform with the Eropean regulations, or the UK?
Any help or advice will be very much appeciated.
Thanks
Erik.

The UK has trained in accordance with the European regulations since 1999. Do you want to take your exams in English or another European Language? If as I suspect its English, you have a very limited choice.

You also need to bear in mind the TBM850 is a high performance aircraft which necessitates specialist training including some ATPL level ground exams. Don't expect to get there from scratch in a hurry.

Thanks for the information.
This is a long term goal, especially the TBM 850. I'd definitely like/need to be trained in english.
Just want to start on the right path to reduce conflicts with license regulations in europe later.
