Just got a report that kq was outbound (to mombasa?) And was turned back after operations told them they had a bomb on board . They landed safely and are parked on the eastern end of 06.:eek:

Well the bomb scare was KQ's bi-annual safety/emergency test. But apparently nobody turned up for it - no ambulances, no bomb disposal squads, no fire engines etc. So I guess you could say the test was not a wild success. Still last time, the test was 'leaked' beforehand, and everyone turned up before the so-called 'crash' and knew where to go without going to the 'briefing HQ'.... Wonder how that leaves all the airlines feeling?
