How does the Fuji aircraft compare with the Cessna 172, Pa-28 and the Musketeer?

How many were bought into Australia?

Have a few hrs in a Fuji. they are built like a brick out house a bit smaller inside than a 172 and aerobatic. Have not flown a cherokee or beach so can't compare them. The one I flew was only 160hp with fixed pitch prop from memory I would say the 172 with same engine performs better than the fuji as the fuji just a bit too lacking in power to carry more than 2 people. I know of 3 in WA

The Fuji is a lot more capable aerobatic machine than the aerobatic Musketeer. A few years ago I spoke to a friend who had 2 or 3 old Fuji airframes in his hangar - some parts are unobtainable these days - that would be my biggest concern with a type no longer supported and with only a very small number throughout the world. Fond memories of flying with Roy Goon in a Fuji back in the '70s.
