I would suggest posting your question to the aviation medical experts found here: Medical & Health - PPRuNe Forums (http://www.pprune.org/medical-health-62/) IrishJason 30th Jun 2011, 10:01 Oh I understand that but I thought this may fall under the question thread. Its more a question re can he take the exam in the US over say the specific's of the medical exam itself. But thanks anyway afhelipilot 1st Jul 2011, 08:29 I had heard many stories about taking a medical exam in US. However, still I can not answer you this question. I guess your brother can contact a doctor on a phone in US. Flyin'Dutch' 23rd Jul 2011, 23:01 The main thing for the FAA is that someone needs to be able to meet the standard and it does not matter if they require a correction for this. FAA Medical Examinations can be done in the UK as well as in the US. IrishJason 24th Jul 2011, 12:07 He's leaving for Gatwick in the morning :ok: |
