I may have asked this before!!Can anyone who served on RAF Oakington remember the display that took place on the 50th birthday of the RAF at RAF Oakington?
Princess Margaret was guest of honour,there was a display of vintage and modern aircraft and for the life of me I cannot recall anything of the event!! I read a post recently of the same event at RAF Abingdon which apparently had a large flying display but no one remembers OAKINGTONS !
